A plethora of personal details made this river front wedding stand out and the heartfelt emotions displayed by the brides made even their photographer misty eyed. Nicole and Ashley had a nautical themed wedding by the riverfront at the Port of Burlington. Guests danced the night away among custom pallet signs, mason jar centerpieces, and a plenty of anchors. After a particularly memorable moment, guests could use the brides personal wedding hashtag to be sure everyone in attendance would be able to share in the memories later on.
Here is what Misty Nolan Photography had to say about this fun DIY wedding:
“Nicole and Ashley are a beautiful couple from the midwest. They both love rivers and wanted to celebrate their marriage on the river front with a river boat cruise for their reception. Their wedding was full of nautical touches, DIY decor, and love. Their families and friends are very supportive and this wedding held an extra emotional aspect for me as the brides were in tears at the reception, while sharing their struggles in having an equal marriage but thankful for all the support they are given!”
