“This was the first same sex marriage we were able to shoot, thanks to the law being passed in the state of Minnesota. Lea and Leah, the brides, had worked for quite a long time in the human rights area that worked to ensure that law was passed and it was very moving to see them be allowed to be married. The summer day was absolutely lovely, set on the Camrose Hill Farm in Stillwater, Minnesota, a very secluded and romantic location.
Camrose Hill Farm set the day with not only their venue, but the supplying of the flowers, catering, and more. One aspect of the wedding that was particularly personal was the large selection of small cakes, each made by Leah’s mother. A close friend also did the hair and makeup, making this truly a close knit and loving event.”
