” Zara and Kim have known each other since high school but connecting always seemed like the wrong place and time for things to work out. Zara described Kim as her serious girl crush but they were dating other people. After a few bad relationships, they re-connected and set up a time to go out. Everything clicked, they dated, got married, and now they are starting their family!
Kim called me on a Wednesday afternoon to ask about a maternity session. She wanted to surprise Zara for Mother’s Day. I thought it was such a sweet idea. We met at a local coffee shop to discuss details and planning everything out. Kim surprised Zara with a gift certificate for a Maternity Session, and while Zara was excited, she was also apprehensive. Here is what Zara had to say:
“I received a package as a gift for Mother’s Day and although I was very appreciative, the closer I’m getting to delivering the less attractive I feel. That is until I met with Amanda. She was so supportive and encouraging during the session that I felt beautiful and empowered!”
The excitement they share while they wait for their little boy is unmissable. I would ask them to snuggle up to each other and look into each other’s eyes and their faces beamed with pride and love. You can see it in the images I was able to create for them. This will always be one of my favorite sessions and I know they will treasure the photos forever.”
